Terry Finley is the Founder and CEO of West Point Thoroughbreds, the largest Thoroughbred partnership company in the world, providing clients with the chance to participate at an elite level in the Sport of Kings.

Finley has grown the company from one partner and one claiming horse in 1991 to over 525 partners and more than 80 horses today. The stable celebrated its 100th stakes win in 2018.

West Point reached the pinnacle of American racing in 2017 as a part owner of Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming. The company also finished second in the 2014 Kentucky Derby with Commanding Curve.

Finley graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986, earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Boston University in 1989, and in 2014 completed the Owner/President Management course within Harvard Business School's Executive Education program.

Terry serves on the boards of the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, the Thoroughbred Charities of America, the PenFed Foundation, and the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, which provides scholarships to children of our nation’s fallen military members.

Finley lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, with his wife of 32 years and business partner, Debbie. Their daughter, Erin, is an accomplished equestrian and the Racing Manager and Director of Communications for West Point Thoroughbreds. The Finleys' son, Ryan, graduated from Notre Dame and was a first-team All-American for the Irish soccer team and the ninth overall pick in the 2013 Major League Soccer draft. Ryan played professional soccer for five years and now works on Wall Street.
