Building Bright Futures One Book at a Time

Today our students proudly joined Jumpstart’s 20th anniversary of Read for the Record, taking part in the world’s largest shared reading experience. Together, they read See Marcus Grow by Marcus Bridgewater, a story that beautifully connects caring for plants with nurturing our own growth. Its message of patience, resilience, and change sparked meaningful conversations and joyful learning in our classrooms.

We are especially proud to participate because building early literacy, confidence, and a love of reading is what we do every day at BCCA. Experiences like this reinforce that our students are growing strong roots and are well positioned for bright futures ahead.
